Health Center

Libraries are the Heart of Every Community

We believe that a library should be a place to keep our community informed, even when it comes to the matters of health. We have created the Health Center for our patrons to find information about health issues as well as help keep track of their own health.

We provide information pamphlets as well as a blood-pressure checking station. Our bulletin board will be updated with current health information trends.

H-E-B has provided our blood-pressure monitoring system and provides Second Saturday Screenings, including free Blood Glucose Checks and more, from March to October. Strickland Drugs on the city square also provides basic screenings for customers.
