Position: Bookkeeper – Part Time

Job Summary:
The bookkeeper creates financial transactions and creates financial reports from that information. The creation of financial transactions includes posting information to accounting journals or accounting software from such source documents as invoices and cash receipts. Manages payroll. The bookkeeper also reconciles accounts to ensure their accuracy. Confidentiality, excellent organizational skills and accuracy are important qualifications for this position.

Requirements:

  • ·        Five years experience working in accounts payable and receivable, general ledger, payroll and payroll reports
  • ·         Strong knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles
  • ·         Extensive experience with data entry, record keeping and computer operation
  • ·         Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel and QuickBooks
  • ·         Experience in services related to payroll such as writing checks and submitting payroll taxes
  • ·         Strong understanding of business and income tax worksheets and computations

 

Salary: Based on experience
