How to get involved!

The Blanco Library depends on its wonderful volunteers to keep the library operating—checking out books to patrons, keeping the shelves organized and clean, putting covers on newly-arrived books, keeping the catalog up-to-date, and so much more.

How Friends Help The Library
Proceeds from membership dues, memorials, fund raisers, and gifts are used to provide the Blanco Library with books and needed items which could not otherwise be afforded. The Friends are committed to assisting the library in its endeavor to bring books, educational material, information resources, and interesting programs to Blanco.
About The Friends
The Friends of the Blanco Library is an organization dedicated to enriching the collections of the Library. It also provides opportunities for members to become acquainted with each other and the resources of the library by sponsoring a series of programs throughout the year.
Join the Friends & Be a Benefactor
As a member you will receive information about scheduled events during the year. And best of all, you contribute toward providing these free services to the members of our community. Through The Friends' united efforts, you can discover for yourself and your family the changing new world of ideas and information at our library. If you would like to become a Library Benefactor, the Friends will be happy to accept any items of a valuable nature for the fund raising auction.
