Summer Reading Program 2021

Welcome to the Blanco Library
Summer Reading Program 2021!

Our Summer Reading Program began on Tuesday, June 22, and ends on Friday, August 6. Though we are not conducting in-person programming this summer, patrons can pick up weekly Origami craft kits any time the Library is open. In fact, like Origami and want to do more? Just let us know! We have oodles of materials we want to share!

New this year: Summer Reading Program participants will log their reading progress online via Reader Zone, an internet-based system. Patrons can download the Reader Zone app (see instructions from Reader Zone), create an account, enter our unique program code, and start logging their reading in a matter of minutes! Reader Zone can also be used without an app via traditional web browsers. Readers are separated by age group (Pre-K, Child, Teen, and Adult), so be sure to join the appropriate group once you enter our unique program code. Parents of children under 13 must register themselves and then add a reader for each child in the family, but all participants in a family may be managed under the same account. Once you have created your personal Reader Zone account, click the image below to register for the Blanco Library Summer Reading Program 2021 using our program's unique Reader Zone 5-digit code.

Be sure to log your activities throughout the six weeks to be eligible for a prize from the Blanco Library! Have other questions about the summer reading program? Please email deputydirector@blancolib.org. Happy summer reading!
