MARC aid for flood victims 6-2-15JUNE 1, 2015 BLANCO FLOOD DISASTER UPDATE MULTI-AGENCY RESOURCE CENTER. The American Red Cross is sponsoring a Multi-Agency Resource Center (MARC) at which representatives from a wide variety of organizations and government agencies will be on hand to assist victims of the Blanco River Flood. The Blanco MARC event will be held on Wednesday, June 3, 8 am – 8 pm, upstairs at the Old Blanco County Courthouse on the Blanco City Square. You should attend this event if you have suffered from water, wind, or hail damage; if you have debris in your yard; if your fences are down; if you have lost livestock; if you need to register financial needs or explore how to get your property reappraised for tax purposes; if you want to apply for the Texas Realtors’ Relief Fund; if you have suffered mental or emotional stress; or have any other problem caused by the flood and storms. Individuals seeking flood disaster assistance should come to the event with a form of photo identification such as a Driver’s License, passport, etc. Free childcare will be provided by Trinity Lutheran Church, located at the northwest corner on Highway 281 and 7th Street in Blanco. Parents may bring children beginning at 7:45 am.
