Summer Reading Program 2025

Welcome to the Blanco Library
Summer Reading Program 2025!

The Summer Reading Program (SRP) runs from May 28 to July 23.

Read whatever you want and log your reading for 8 weeks to earn a prize! Prizes will be awarded at the end of the SRP for making regular reading log entries each week.

Featuring app-based reading logs via ReaderZone. See instructions below to download the ReaderZone app and register for SRP using our unique program code (1288f). You can register early but won't be able to log daily reading until May 28.

ReaderZone registration instructions:

Summer Reading Program participants are encouraged to log their reading progress via the ReaderZone app. Download the Reader Zone app (see instructions from Reader Zone), create an account, enter our unique program code (1288f), and start logging your reading!

(Note: Don’t want to use the app? Visit https://www.readerzone.com/ to create an account and log in using a browser).

Readers are separated by age group (Child, Teen, and Adult), so be sure to join the appropriate group once you enter our unique program code (1288f). Parents of children under 13 can create an account and manage multiple readers in the family under this same account with or without joining a reading program themselves.

Don't have access to the app or just tired of technology? You can still use a paper reading log.  Please ask us at the library! Paper log users will need to bring their reading logs to the library periodically, every two weeks, for us to confirm their reading progress along the way (we will photocopy or scan the paper log and return the log to you—and if you lose it, we’ll have a copy of where you were!).
